Just moments before New York art-rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs took the stage, fans were shocked and delighted to see Daft Punk's distinctive logo appear on the projection screens, followed by an extended clip from the new song, "Get Lucky." Already notorious for being the song loop used in the first Random Access Memories TV commercials that debuted during Saturday Night Live, the Coachella video revealed even more of the tune, with N*E*R*D frontman/Neptunes producer Pharrell Williams on lead vocals and studio legend Nile Rodgers of disco pioneers CHIC on guitar, with the robots (Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo) on drums and bass. According to Rolling Stone, the members of Daft Punk were at Coachella with Pharrell Williams and watched the fans wild reactions from the side of the main stage.
