Oasis Reunion? Definitely Maybe Not

(Gibson) According to the Sunday Mirror, Noel Gallagher has put a stop to an Oasis reunion in which he reportedly stood to make approximately $32.5 million. The reunion, which would have included two shows at Knebworth Park, was scheduled to coincide with the twentieth anniversary of the first Oasis album Definitely Maybe in 2014.

A source reportedly told the Sunday Mirror: "There were hopes he would do it but frankly, he just doesn't want to. The Oasis reunion is well and truly off. He has refused all offers, it got to 20million but even the lure of money like that just didn't work."

"Liam is very keen to get back together, if only for the money but Noel is having none of it," said the unnamed source. "There have been several intermediaries from their respective camps working very hard indeed to reach some form of agreement but Noel isn't budging and a working solution between the brothers simply can't be found."

Paul Weller and Happy Mondays had already been lined up as special guests for the reunion tour. more on this story
