Ozzy Says Rubin Helped Black Sabbath Find Their Way
. Osbourne says producer Rick Rubin helped the band go back to their early days and, in the process, make an album that sounds more like Black Sabbath's debut than previous releases. "He just said forget formula, just forget it," Osbourne said in a recent press conference (according to Blabbermouth). "I couldn't for the life of me understand what he was trying to say. "I'd go to him, 'Rick, I don't really understand what you're trying to do. We are heavy metal, we're supposed to be the godfathers of heavy metal, so what are you saying?' And he said, 'Just go listen.'" more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
