Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran Wrote New Song On A Trampoline

(Radio.com) When Taylor Swift is a fan of another artist's music, she doesn't shy away from letting her legions of fans know. This is exactly what happened with current tourmate Ed Sheeran, and now the two have premiered a music video for one of their collaborations, titled "Everything Has Changed," which serves as the fifth single off Swift's Red.

After tweeting about being obsessed with Sheeran's music, Swift later decided to take the British singer-songwriter on the road with her for her Red Tour. But before she asked him out on the road, the two met up for a songwriting session at Swift's Nashville home. It all came together shortly after Sheeran learned that Swift had written lyrics from his song "Lego House" on her arm during her Speak Now Tour.

"Two days later, I got an email saying she had been a fan for awhile and 'Should we write a song?'" Sheeran told Rolling Stone last year of their friendship. "So we hooked up and wrote two tunes, actually, one on the record and another that's still out in the ether somewhere."

The music video to one of those songs, "Everything Has Changed," was just released this wee (June 5). Apparently they wrote the song, which they've been performing together throughout her Red Tour, on a trampoline at her home.

"We wrote a song on a trampoline, ate some apple pie and had a jam. It was very fun," he said in the same Rolling Stone interview. "It came in 20 minutes, really. It was a really simple song to write. We just had two guitars and strummed it out. I've heard from everyone in the industry how cool she is; she's got a very good reputation, but you never really realize what kind of person she is until you sit down and chat with her. She's just a very warm soul." more on this story
