Depeche Mode Dedicate Birthdays To Charity
. Band members Martin Gore, Dave Gahan and Andy Fletcher have all donated their individual birthdays to charity: water. They are asking fans to use the occasions not to make financial donations to the cause of bringing clean drinking water to underdeveloped countries. "I have personally been a supporter and advocate of charity: water for a while now," said songwriter Martin Gore in March of this year at the launch of the partnership, which also includes limited edition Depeche Mode watches produced by Hublot. "I'm thrilled that we as a band can expand our support for the organization and help to make significant difference in places around the world struggling without a proper supply of drinking water."
