Adam Lambert Steals the 'Glee' Spotlight on Gaga vs. Katy Perry Episode
. When asked of his song selection (Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night"), Lambert's Starchild simply states, "It's by one of my favorite artists, someone who always inspires me to be myself, no matter what other people think." On the episode, titled A Katy or A Gaga, Glee positioned the two pop divas against one another, as so often has happened in the press this fall during the singers' concurrent record campaigns. The costumes were, admittedly, pretty fantastic. (All songs in the player below.) In a recreation of the song's jungle-themed video, the cast covered Perry's "Roar," whereas the group's interpretation of "Wide Awake" was more stripped down. They also took on Gaga's "Applause" with an all-male salute to Gaga's more avant garde costuming selections. We haven't seen this many men in drag on Glee since the Rocky Horror episode. For his over-the-top Glee role, Lambert has said he reused some of his past fashion don'ts. Read about that here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
