Darius Rucker Has Strong Feelings About Earning Grammy Nomination
. With all the success of "Wagon Wheel," Rucker thinks it deserves a Grammy. In an interview this week (Nov. 13) with The Dan Patrick Show, the country singer made some pretty lofty statements about the track and country music. "'Wagon Wheel' did OK, that was a big hit. I'm waiting for the Grammy nomination, because I haven't had one of those in a long time," he said. When asked by host Dan Patrick if the song would get nominated, Rucker was very adamant in his answer. "If 'Wagon Wheel' doesn't get nominated for a GRAMMY, country music is screwed. It's as simple as that. I'm not saying I should win it, but it should be nominated." Watch it here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
