Black Sabbath React To Living Legend Award
. "I didn't even expect to live this long," said Ozzy Osbourne, accepting the awards. "When I was 21 I thought I would be dead by 40. That was alright until I was 39." He later added: "I never thought 43 years ago I'd be standing here. We're in shock--this year has been an incredible event for us." Guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler attended the event as well. "It's fantastic to get the awards," said Iommi. "When we started out we never thought about it, you just wanted to play. In other Sabbath news, the band has just announced another round of North American live dates, kicking off at the end of March. more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
