Living Sacrifice Singled Out Week: The Reaping

Living Sacrifice have released their new album "Ghost Thief" and to celebrate we asked Bruce Fitzhugh and Rocky Grayto to tell us about some of the new songs. Today they tell us about "The Reaping". Here is the story:

Bruce: Rocky wrote the music for this one and it is pretty much the same from the demo he made. The lyrics are inspired by some personal business dealings over the years with people that call themselves Christians, but their actions speak otherwise.

Rocky: This is the second song I wrote for this record. Again, just going for it. This is one of my favorite LS tracks ever. Nick Hipa's solo is a face melter.

Bruce: Yeah, we are good friends with Nick and he has been a long time supporter of the band even after his band AILD got super popular. He's just the coolest guy and always talks about seeing LS back in the day before he was in any band. His lead is killer and just fits the riff so well.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
