Avicii Teams Up With Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds For New Song
. The song is taken from Avicii's highly anticipated debut artist album, True (set for release on Sept. 17), and finds Reynold's instantly recognizable voice singing over the string-heavy track, which is much closer to Avicii's signature dance-floor style than the heavily bluegrass-influenced "Wake Me Up," which showcases the vocals of L.A. indie soul singer Aloe Blacc. The album is expected to be packed with high-profile collaborations, including Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger appearing on four songs (including "Wake Me Up"), and American Idol star Adam Lambert and Chic guitarist/Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rodgers both playing on new song "Lay Me Down," which is already generating buzz among eager fans. "I'm watching this thing on Twitter, and everybody's going crazy over a joint that honestly, I wrote in two hours," Nile Rodgers said regarding "Lay Me Down" during an interview with New York radio station 92.3 NOW earlier this year. "You can go on Twitter right now and see people are flipping out over this record." Check out the song. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
