Sanctions May Derail Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus Shows
. Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus have scheduled tour dates in Finland at Helsinki's Hartwall Arena in May and June respectively, but the venue is owned by Russian oil trader Gannady Timchenko and brothers Boris and Arkady Rotenberg. Reuters reports that as a result of the sanctions all three men have had their assets frozen and visas banned. The shows are currently under investigation by their organizer, LiveNation Finland who are in talks with the U.S. government to see if the sanctions will translate to canceled shows. "We are examining the possibility whether this could have an impact on American artists' shows. If it does, then we will need to come up with a different solution. But I believe that the problem will be solved and the concerts will be held," Nina Castren, the chief executive of LiveNation Finland, told Reuters. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
