Puff Daddy's Smashing Pumpkins Remix Finally Released

(Radio.com) At first glance, Puff Daddy and Billy Corgan might not have a whole lot in common. But in 1998 they were both on top of the world. Puff was racking up GRAMMY nominations and the award for Best Rap Album for No Way Out, his tribute to the Notorious B.I.G., while Corgan's Smashing Pumpkins took home the award for Best Hard Rock Performance for "The End Is the Beginning Is the End" - from the Batman & Robin soundtrack - and released their seminal album Adore.

Little did we know at the time that the link between them was even greater. Sixteen years ago, Puff Daddy inexplicably took it upon himself to remix the Adore track "Ava Adore."

However, it stayed buried for a decade-and-a-half, until Smashing Pumpkins announced the reissue of Adore - and now, ahead of the reissue, the remix is finally seeing the light of day.
