Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor, C.O.C. Supergroup Plan Album Release

(Radio.com) Teenage Time Killers, the much-talked-about punk/metal supergroup, are closing in on the release date of their debut album, Greatest Hits Vol. 1, according to the blog Skin Back Alley.

Corrosion of Conformity's Facebook page linked to a post at the blog, calling it "a more factual TTK story" than one they had previously linked to at Rolling Stone.

Skin Back Alley notes that the band's name is Teenage Time Killers and not Teenage Time Killer, as has been reported over the past few months (including by Radio.com). All the instrumental parts of the album were recorded at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, Calif., on the Neve mixing board that was the focus of Grohl's 2013 documentary, Sound City: Reel To Reel.

The nucleus of the band features C.O.C. drummer Reed Mullin, guitarist Mick Murphy (of My Ruin, Foo Fighter Taylor Hawkins' side project Chevy Metal, Birds of Satan, which also features Hawkins, and Neanderthal) and producer John 'Lou" Lousteau.

Other members of the band include Grohl and Pat Smear of the Foo Fighters, Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour, Randy Blythe of Lamb of God, Neil Fallon of Clutch, Tommy Victor of Prong and Danzig, Jello Biafra from the Dead Kennedys, Grohl's former Scream bandmate Pete Stahl, Brian Baker of Minor Threat and Bad Religion and Lee Ving from Fear.
