(Radio.com) As if the idea of seeing Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr performing together wasn't enough! But CBS has announced that The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles will feature an interview with McCartney and Starr conducted by current tenant of the Ed Sullivan Theater, David Letterman.

Letterman interviewed the two at the Ed Sullivan Theater Tuesday (February 4), without a studio audience. Of course, that theater was the site of the actual "night that changed America" in 1964: the Beatles' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

It's that earth-shaking event that is being celebrated on the The Night That Changed America; the show, which was filmed the night after the GRAMMYs, will feature performances by McCartney and Starr, both together and apart, and a number of other A-list artists including Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Dave Grohl, Katy Perry and the reunited Eurythmics. more on this story
