Dolly Parton To Perform At Glastonbury Festival

(Radio.com) Dolly Parton's 2014 keeps getting busier. In addition to releasing her new album Blue Smoke (it hits U.S. and European stores in May), and expanding her Blue Smoke World Tour, the country legend will now perform at the England's Glastonbury Festival, it was announced yesterday (Feb. 27).

She tweeted, "I'm incredibly excited to FINALLY announce that the #BlueSmokeWorldTour is coming to @GlastoFest on June 29th! ;) Stay tuned for more info�"

Parton's concert will take place on June 29. She joins a bill that also includes such artists as Arcade Fire, Blondie, electronic duo Disclosure, Lily Allen, Warpaint and Stanton Warriors. The 2014 festival runs June 25-29 at the festival's Worthy Farm grounds near the town of Pilton in Somerset, England. more on this story
