. The lead track to her forthcoming album, "You Sound Good To Me" embodies a radio-friendly country sound complete with foot-stomping rhythms. Hale grew up in Memphis, Tenn., and currently plays Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, but country music isn't just a new hobby on her resume. The singer recently told USA Today that she grew up aspiring to be a singer, looking up to artists including Martina McBride and Faith Hill. Hale added that country music allows her to be herself. "I don't have to hide behind a character, wardrobe or dialogue," she said during the Twitter chat.
