(Radio.com) Three years after releasing their debut single, "Pumped Up Kicks," Foster the People are back and singing about the trials and tribulations of attempting to grow up and not fade away.

On the band's new single "Coming of Age," off their upcoming album, Supermodel (out March 14), Mark Foster talks about a girl he can't seem to do without, singing, "I see you standing there like a rabid dog/And you got those crying eyes/Makes it want to surrender/And wrap you in my arms."

But moving on is complicated in the world of Foster the People, as the singer explains: "I try to live without regrets/ always moving forward, not looking back/But I tend to leave a trail of dead when I'm moving ahead."

Last month, the band teased fans with a snippet of their latest single, but even before that the band was giving their fans a taste of what was yet to come. Last summer, they debuted three new songs at a secret L.A. show including "Fire Escape" and "Nevermind," which will both appear on the band's follow-up to their 2011 debut, Torches.

In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, frontman Mark Foster also talked about what the band had in store for 2014. "It's not the record that people are gonna expect us to release second," Foster said. "It's definitely an evolution for us, and it's a more polarizing record for us, so I'm excited to see how it's received, for better or worse." Check out the song here.
