Classic Black Sabbath Albums Return To Billboard Chart

(hennemusic) A pair of classic Black Sabbath albums have returned to the US Billboard 200 chart following the launch of the band's 1970s catalog on iTunes on January 14.

The group's 1970 debut, "Black Sabbath", re-entered the chart at No. 184 with sales of 2,000 (an increase of 229% from the week before), while "Paranoid" re-charted at No. 121 with sales of 3,000 copies (up 183% from the week prior), according to Billboard.

Rremastered specifically for iTunes, Black Sabbath's classic era includes 8 studio albums � from 1970s' self-titled debut to 1978's "Never Say Die!", individually and as a bundle ("The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1978"), the 1976 compilation "We Sold Our Soul For Rock 'N' Roll", and 2006's "Greatest Hits 1970-1978", which was released in connection with their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. more on this story
