Spoon Release Lead Single From New Album
. Apparently it's hot where Spoon comes from - makes sense, since the band is based in Austin, Texas. Spoon are gearing up to release their eighth album They Want My Soul on Aug. 5 via Loma Vista Recordings. Earlier this year, they released "Rent I Pay," the first piece of new music from the album, at a show hosted by NPR at New York's Le Poisson Rouge. Listen to the new song here.
