Former Adult Film Star Sasha Grey Releases EDM DJ Mix
. Having secured high-profile acting gigs on the big-screen (The Girlfriend Experience, Would You Rather) and a recurring role on HBO's Entourage, Grey is now trying her hand as a DJ, releasing a new Soundcloud mix packed with big room bangers from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Krewella, Empire of the Sun and more. DJing is not a new endeavor for Grey, who has been spinning at parties and nightclubs for years. Her new 2014 Progressive Electro Mix, however, is her first publicly released stab at EDM. Opening with a remix of the xx's "Intro," Grey's 2014 Progressive Mix is loaded with high energy tracks and plenty of dramatic drops throughout the 35-minute running time. Grey has also posted two older mixes to her Soundcloud page, both from 2012. "I have such eclectic taste and that doesn't always work with clubs. I play a mix of Top 40, rock, and hip-hop," she told Entertainment Weekly about her DJ style back in 2010. "Then I always try and throw in my own stuff, like some post-punk, or some old school hip-hop. Just things that people don't really expect to hear me play unless they're really my fans." Listen here.
