50 Cent Pulled Over By Police Officer Because of Botched Pitch
. On Good Morning America Friday morning (May 30), the rapper addressed the much talked about pitch that even New York City police approached him about. "That was Curtis that did that," he told GMA. "I'm trying to get Curtis to be like 50 Cent. Curtis just does things for no reason. "I actually got pulled over by New York City police and he said, 'You know that pitch was terrible.'" While 50 Cent didn't get a ticket, the police officer pulled him over to address his pitch, saying that 50 made him laugh. As far as his pitch being a publicity stunt, he said it wasn't. "It slipped out of my hand," he added. "I'll be back on the mound though. I'm performing at Citi Field on June 14. I'm trying to stay away [from the mound]. I'm not a professional pitcher. I make music." Watch 50 Cent's disastrous first pitch here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
