. The campaign was launched in March by Andrew Goldin, who sought to bring the band back to one of Dave Grohl's former hometowns for their first show since 1998, according to Rolling Stone. Goldin and his fellow organizers, Brig White, John McAdorey and Lucas Krost, launched the campaign with a goal of selling 1,400 tickets at $50 each to the hypothetical concert in order to convince the band to return.
