Afrojack Wants to Work With U2 and Red Hot Chili Peppers
. "It was crazy. I've done a lot of crazy things in my life�and then you're sitting in a studio in New York with some Englishman in New York, Sting," he recalled of the "Catch Tomorrow" sessions, referring to Sting's 1987 solo song, "Englishman in New York." "It's nice to do crazy things that I'd never even dreamed of, but being in the studio with Sting is pretty surreal. That's the guy who made like 80 percent of the music I listened to growing up." He also discussed artists he'd most want to collaborate with in the future, including Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. the DJ was especially animated at the idea of working with rock heroes the Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2. "With Red Hot Chili Peppers, I'd want to bring rock to EDM and bring back the power of rock," he surmised. "With U2, I'd want to make the most beautiful song in the world. They could just do that by themselves, but I'd love to be a part of it."
