Seether Releasing New Album This Summer

Seether revealed on Wednesday that that they have set a July 1st released ate for their sixth studio album, which will be entitled "Isolate And Medicate" and will be released by The Bicycle Music Company/Concord Music Group.

The new album reunited the band with producer Brendan O'Brian (AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Korn, Stone Temple Pilots, Killswitch Engage, Mastodon), worked with the band on their 2011 album " Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray."

In the album announcement, the band revealed that frontman Shaun Morgan used a special room that he had constructed in his New Hampshire home. "I actually built a room that I could write in," he recalls.

"I personally pulled out the carpet, put in wood flooring, decorated, and painted. After getting off the road, it was a process of preparation to get the environment just right.

"I made a place that I felt comfortable and creative in. I was able to be safe and isolated, concentrating on writing music instead of dealing with the distractions that come with daily life."
