(The Blues) Blues charity pioneer Tim Duffy has released a stream of a version of Willie Brown's Mississippi Blues that he recorded in 1995 with Eric Clapton. Duffy has made the song available to mark the 20th anniversary of his Music Maker Relief Foundation, which seeks to support musicians in financial difficulty.

Slowhand has been a high-profile supporter of the organisation, calling it "a fabulous project." The pair recorded the track during a meeting in New York.

"When Eric began to play it was spellbinding, and among the most amazing musical moments of my life," Duffy tells Rolling Stone. "I picked up my guitar and tuned it up to match his, and began to play some backup licks I'd learned from Guitar Gabriel." Stream it here.
