The month tour will kick off Oct. 9 in Minneapolis, Minn., and run through Oct. 26 in Columbus, Ohio - 10 dates in all. The tour takes its name from the duo's debut album, Where It All Began, released earlier this year. In an interview with Radio.com, Dan + Shay explained their determination to make a career out of doing what they love.

"Sometimes you've gotta take a chance, throw all your stuff in the back of the car and move there and live out of a suitcase for a while or live in a tent," Dan said. "But if you're really passionate and believe in what you're doing, it'll pay off in the end."

Bandmate Shay chimed in, adding that if you want something badly enough, you'll find a way to make it happen. "You have to want it so badly that you'll do absolutely anything," Shay said. "You'll be living in a cardboard box if you have to. There's thousands of people in Nashville and if you're not willing to do whatever it takes and go that extra mile and learn and know that you can always learn something from anybody else. You need to be open and do whatever it takes."
