Jason Derulo Laments Lost Love On New Song 'Cheyenne'

(Radio.com) Jason Derulo looks back with regret on lost love on his new song "Cheyenne." The danceable track showcases Derulo's impressive falsetto but throughout the three-and-a-half-minute song it's hard not to think of him singing about his ex Jordin Sparks on the emotional track.

The song begins with pounding on doors as a friend warns him to leave because somebody called the cops. As the sound of cop cars are heard in the distance Derulo enters, admitting that, "I'm a little unsure how it got so complicated."

He then laments that he "just can't stop thinking about you every day no I can't stop now" and that he "never meant to fall in love." "Cheyenne" is a brand new song off Derulo's upcoming album, Everything Is 4, which will be released on June 2. Listen here.
