Pharrell Premieres Unreleased N.E.R.D. Track
. During an interview with Radio.com backstage at last year's We Can Survive benefit concert, Williams took an almost uncomfortably long time pondering the question regarding the group he formed with Neptunes partner Chad Hugo and vocalist Shay Haley in the early 2000s and the prospect of a new album. Carefully weighing his words, Williams finally responded: 'I can't say right now. But that's good news. It's really good news," he stressed, before smiling and moving on to the next subject. Pharrell also invited Tyler, the Creator as a guest on the program. Tyler discussed opening for Eminem in Europe--and the challenges that it presents. "When you're performing for a crowd overseas of motherf-- who only wanna see Eminem and you have to be on stage for like 40 minutes, it's certain songs that you have to bring out, I'm just lucky enough that I have an energy where I can win people over. I've learned the hard way, early on, like ok, although this is the greatest song I've ever made, I can't, these chords and this saxophone does not translate well to 100,000 people." Read more here.
