Of Mice & Men Cancel More Shows Following Austin Carlile's Surgery

Of Mice & Men have announced that they have canceled a music festival appearance and won't be rescheduling previous canceled dates as frontman Austin Carlile continues to recovery from surgery that he underwent in June.

Carlile underwent the surgery due to complications from the genetic disorder marfans, causing the band to cut their North American tour short. Now the band announced that they will be unable to make up the canceled dates and also pulled out of their performance at this year's Louder Than Life Festival, which will be taking place at Champions Park in Louisville, KY on October 2nd and 3rd.

The band released the following message for fans, "We regret to announce that we will no longer be playing Louder Than Life Festival and will unfortunately be unable to reschedule the shows in Mexico City and San Diego cancelled earlier this year.

"Whilst the surgeries Austin underwent earlier this summer went well, it is important that we allow him time to recover so that we may come back in 2016 stronger than ever. Refunds for the Mexico City and San Diego shows can be sought at their point of purchase."
