50 Cent Says Empire Is Glee With A Little Hip-Hop
. (Radio.com) Empire is a new show on FOX that charts the evolution of a hip-hop label. Starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, it's won plenty of acclaim and new fans. 50 Cent is not necessarily one of these, though. In an interview with MTV, the rapper took a few lighthearted shots at the new series. 'It's like Glee," he said of Empires. "It's like Glee with a little hip-hop music in it." 50's criticisms extended to the speed at which the series moves through its plot so far. 'I was like, 'Damn. What happened? What happened to the rest of the story?'" He said regarding the sudden introduction of the main character Cookie. "I don't know what's going on. It started moving real fast."
