Jury Rules Rick Springfield's Butt Did Not Injure Fan
. (Radio.com) In case you missed it, a court has ruled that Rick Springfield's butt did not, in fact, injure a woman 10 years ago. Yes, that really happened. CBS News reports that a judge ruled Springfield didn't injure a woman at a New York State Fair concert a decade ago. The singer/guitarist/former General Hospital star was sued by 45-year-old Vicki Calcagno of Liverpool, N.Y., who said she suffered serious injuries when Springfield fell into her during a 2004 concert in suburban Syracuse. She said Springfield's buttocks hit her head, causing lasting injuries. Springfield was so happy after the verdict the he photobombed a local reporter discussing the case. With that business out of the way, fans can look forward to a new Rick Springfield album soon(ish). Earlier this month, he tweeted a photo of him and his crew in the studio, noting that they were celebrating the completion of the recording of backing tracks by wearing pajamas. Read more here.
