Raekwon and Ghostface Killah Making Documentary
. (Radio.com) Fresh off their latest studio album A Better Tomorrow, Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are teaming up for a documentary about Raekwon's debut solo project Only Built 4 Cuban Linx called The Purple Tape Files. They will fund project through the website fanbacked.com, which allows fans to contribute directly. Raekwon wants the documentary to offer a look into the circumstances surrounding the album's creation in 1995. The album is considered one of the most important classics in hip-hop's canon. In an interview with Complex, Raekwon explained that he doesn't have a specific fundraising goal. "It's just all about the participation, no number," he said. "It's just about people getting involved and really showing us that, 'You know what? I care about this legendary album.'" Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
