Kid Cudi Auditioned For Role In Star Wars: The Force Awakens

(Radio.com) Kid Cudi may have a growing film career thanks to his music, but it turns out the rapper has aspirations beyond the mic. In addition to lending his talents to soundtracks and special musical appearances, Kid Cudi aka Scott Mescudi auditioned for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, according to Billboard.com.

Kid Cudi revealed via a post on Twitter that he actually tried out for a part in the franchise's seventh film after one of his fans tweeted that he should be in it.

Including the film audition, Kid Cudi has been growing his acting career with other projects. He's appeared on FOX's hit comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Entourage, and the upcoming film Vincent-N-Roxxy. Read more here.
