. Kesha maintains that she's attempting to extricate herself from a multi-album deal with Sony following abuse she allegedly endured at the hands of her producer, Lukasz Gottwald. In the run-up to her Friday appearance in court, she's used Instagram to think fans and narrate some of the emotions she's felt as that pivotal moment approaches. One post featured her hugging an unidentified friend or fan. "tomorrow this is me + u guys. every one of you who has sent me sweet messages thoughts or energy. I am so grateful," she captioned the image. Earlier, Kesha went deeper, positing that this potential turning point is just as critical for other women as it is for her. Kesha's fans have been vocally instrumental in applying public pressure and raising awareness about the singer's predicament. A handful of protests and support rallies have been staged as well as online petitions. "I have nothing left to hide. I did this because the truth was eating away my soul and killing me from the inside. this is not just for me," she wrote.
