Black Sabbath fans may get their biggest wish, a new album from the original lineup. It has been rumored that the four original members Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward have been writing new songs together in England. The original Black Sabbath members have decided to regroup to once more headline the Ozzfest and are reported to be interested in recording a new studio album together for the first time since 1978�s Never Say Die.
If all goes as planed the four will enter the recording studio this fall with producer Rick Rubin with hopes of 2002 release date for the new material. No word yet if the reunited Black Sabbath will play the new material during Ozzfest this summer.
