Wes Borland has officially left Limp Bizkit. Information at this point is limited but the split is reported to be amicable. Limp Bizkits remix CD Old New Songs should still be released in December as planned. But it is unclear how Borlands departure will affect the next Limp Bizkit studio album.
Borland is most likely to redouble his efforts with his side project Big Dumb Face, which released their first album, Duke Lion Fights the Terror!! , earlier this year.
Below is the statement issued on the official
Limp Bizkit website:
Limp Bizkit and Wes Borland have amicably
decided to part ways. Both Limp Bizkit and Borland will continue to pursue
their respective musical careers. Both wish each other the best of luck
in all future endeavors
