Rob Zombie has announced dates for his North American tour in support of his latest album The Sinister Urge. The tour is expected to hit over 30 markets with punk veterans The Damned and Interscope newcomers Sinisstar set to open the shows.
The festivities kick off in Houston on
March 7th. The Damned are touring in support of their 2001 release
Grave Disorder and Sinisstar made headlines a couple years ago when they
came out of nowhere and sparked a bidding war with Geffen Records claiming
the prize reportedly offering the group a 7 figure deal. The group has
since been relegated to the Fred Durst Universal imprint Flip Records and
are expected to release their debut album sometime in 2002.
