Rapper C-Murder looks to be living up to his name. The New Orleans rapper, real name Corey Miller, was arrested last Friday and is now facing charges for the murder of a 16 year-old at a nightclub.
Miller has been charged with first degree murder and fraud and is being held on $1 million bail at the Jefferson Correctional Facility in Gretna, Louisiana. Miller is alleged to have shot 16-yearold Steve Thomas following an argument inside the Platinum Club in Harvey, La. on January 12th.
Witnesses told police that Miller pulled out a gun and shot Steve Thomas after getting into an argument with the 16 year old who had snuck into the nightclub using a fake ID. Thomas was rushed to West Jefferson Medical Center where he died from the gunshot wound. There is no indication at press time as to what sparked the altercation.
Miller who is the younger brother of Master
P, was out on bail for attempted murder charges at the time of this incident.
The earlier charges stem from an incident at a Baton Rouge, La nightclub
last August where Miller allegedly pulled a gun on a nightclub owner and
security guard.
