Creed�s eight-week ride at the top of the Billboard Top 200 album charts has ended. Country crooner Alan Jackson claimed the No. 1 position with his new release �Drive� with sales of 423,000 units last week, the albums first week on the charts. Creed�s �Weathered� recorded soundscan sales of to 128,000 units claiming the No. 2 spot on the charts.
Jackson�s album sales were boosted by the Sept. 11th inspired hit ``Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning),'' which spent the past five weeks at the top of the Country Singles Chart.
Creed�s sales to date have topped over 4 million units sold for �Weathered� with no sign of slowing down.
