The show that will include Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Ravi Shankar and the cast of Monty Python will take place on November 30th, exactly one year after George Harrison lost his battle with cancer.
The performance will be filmed for a television special that will most likely air in early 2003 and tickets for the show will go on sale October 11th.
Harrisons posthumous album, Brainwashed, is set for release two weeks before the tribute show. (see story) Several of Harrisons past albums will also be reissued in November.
