As a result of the new agreement, plans will go forward for a Nirvana greatest hits album that is rumored to include an unreleased song, most likely the much talked about, You Know Youre Right.
Last month it was widely reported that the greatest hits album would be out in October (see story) but according to Love, the album should be in stores just in time for Christmas.
Love also touched apon her legal battle with Universal Music Group during the interview. She told Stern that it has been settled "for a lot of money."
As to Loves future recording career? She told Stern that she considered putting out a new album by Christmas but said she decided against it because "it would be stupid to compete with Kurt.
An official announcement of the settlement of both the Nirvana and Loves battle with Universal has yet to be made.
