Countless Thousands - You're Goddamn Right
Although punk's restless spirit is an influence, one hears an acoustic guitar groove on "Excellent Horse Like Lady," and "Only Child," with its cowboy twang, reveals the act's musical versatility. The latter song doesn't pull any punches when Van Gorder explains, "My sister's is an a**hole/And we don't talk/cause she's an a**hole." One assumes this song is inspired by real-life relational troubles. And if so, one suspects this angry song won't help the healing process much.
This music will make you perk up and listen more closely because Countless Thousands create smart noise.
