If Pat Benatar had fronted a metal band it might have sounded something like this band. All the hallmarks of metal are here: grinding guitar riffs, thrumming bass, rapid fire drumbeats and growled out background vocals. But up front are the crystal clear, more sweet than evil vocalizations of Allison Teague Purifoy, which adds brightness to the mix, sounding especially good on the progressive metal of "Better Off" and "Sin is You" where she starts the tune off with some serious name calling directed at a soon to be ex-lover.
