British band Squeeze is pleased to announce their Summer 2024 North American Tour, commencing August 14 in Eugene, Oregon. This will be Squeeze's latest U.S. foray since last year's American tour with The Psychedelic Furs. Boy George will be joining the band on the road this year. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3, 2024, at 10AM Local Time.

In 1978, Squeeze blasted to the forefront of the U.K. music scene at the height of the punk revolution. A three-song E.P. landed them a deal with A&M Records, which led to the release of their debut self-titled album. With songwriting hooks and melodies that harkened back to the 60's British Invasion, the groundbreaking L.P. featured "Take Me I'm Yours," followed by a cadre of U.K. hits, including "Cool for Cats," "Up the Junction," "Pulling Mussels From A Shell," "Black Coffee in Bed," and "Labeled With Love." Expanding an already stacked slate in 2024, hard rock giants Motionless In White have announced a very special Halloween homecoming in Pennsylvania. Standing out as their biggest hometown gig ever, they will return for their 2nd annual "Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Apocalypse Fest" on October 31st at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza.

The festival will feature a headlining set from Motionless In White, who will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough album Reincarnate by playing the album in full along with fan favorites from their catalog. (continue)

Middle Child Syndrome just released a new single called "Slate" from the forthcoming album "Listen To Me", and to celebrate we asked mastermind Matt Mueller to tell us about the new song. Here is the story:

"Slate" was a song of contrasts from the start. While the chorus, hook, and first two verses fell right into place, finishing it out demanded significant effort and rework. Some of this complexity arose from its two sections: a soulful, free-tempo intro/outro and a more driven, percussive stomp/clap midsection. This juxtaposition is further recognized between the melody and instrumentation (upbeat and catchy) and the song's true, poignant meaning of a farmer mourning his late wife. (continue)
