(Banana 101.5) Last week we brought you a video of 'Remedy' from the Seether episode of 'Guitar Center Sessions,' now there have been a couple of other tracks released from the performance. Dale Stewart swaps his bass for an acoustic guitar during the band's performance of 'Broken,' as they are still performing as a three piece after the departure of former guitarist Troy McLawhorn. Shaun Morgan told Loudwire recently that they plan to keep it that way: "We've embraced the three piece and we will continue to be one. We've tried to have another guitarist and then you become friends with guys and you really become family because you're on the road all the time, you see a lot of things together, you experience a lot of things together. It's like being in a marriage pretty much. Even the best marriages end at some point, unless it's those freak accidents like where my grandparents are married for 50 years." See their performance of 'Broken' and 'Rise Above This' here.

(hennemusic) James Durbin was busy rocking Portland Friday night. Durbin was featured as part of radio station Live 95.5 KBFF's Bing Lounge live experience. It was a very interactive experience for Portland music fans, as James took questions from station DJs and listeners, while also performing several tracks from his debut, "Memories Of A Beautiful Disaster," in an acoustic setting. Included in the set was "Crawling Home." "It's a song I wrote with DJ Ashba," said James as he introduced the tune. "It didn't make the album; it was a bonus track for pre-ording the album. Hopefully we can include it on something in the future. It's a song about being on the road - being gone from your family, being gone from the ones you love and the things you love." (Gibson) John Lennon, a cat lover? It seems so. According to Mental Floss, the late Beatles musician had a strong fondness for cats and owned several during his lifetime, beginning during his childhood.Little Lennon's first pet was named Elvis, and the cat was actually owned by his mom, Julia. Both Lennon and his mom adored Elvis Presley, which is where they got the cat's name. As the story goes, the Lennons were a bit shocked with Elvis who they thought was a male cat gave birth to a littler of cats in the cupboard. When Lennon who also had a liking for dogs married his first wife, Cynthia, he gave her a dog named Bernard as a gift. Bernard and Sally were supposed to be John's only two pet dogs. Slowly, the couple began acquiring cat after cat until, eventually, they owned roughly 10 cats! He also owned two cats with his second wife, Yoko Ono. more on this story
