Julian Lennon To Showcase His Photography Online

Julian Lennon opened his inaugural photography exhibit at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing arts during Art Basel Miami Beach last month. The exhibit, called "Timeless" features over 30 pieces of hand-signed portrait and landscape photography, some of which will be exclusively on sale during the five-day exhibition. The exhibit also includes recent photos of the band U2 taken by Lennon. A portion of the proceeds will go to The White Feather Foundation, launched by Lennon in 2008 to embrace environmental and humanitarian issues in conjunction with partners from around the world, working to raise funds for the betterment of all life, and to honor those who have truly made a difference.

The Grascals and Friends

The Grascals, fresh off of a year packed with over 150 shows, are in the running for 10 of the 37th Annual SPBGMA Awards including Instrumental Group of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Bluegrass Band of the Year, and Entertaining Group of the Year. In spite of their packed schedule, they took time to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during their travels, and to write a bonus track "I Am Strong" for the album. All of the artists who sang separately with the Grascals on the CD joined their vocals together on the "I Am Strong" bonus track. In addition, the Grascals' new video, "I Am Strong" featuring Dolly Parton premiered in mid-December on AOL. Because of The Grascals caring spirit, Cracker Barrel is donating a percentage of the proceeds from the CD to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Liquid Blue Score Dance Hit and Set World Record

Averaging almost 200 shows per year, Liquid Blue is one of the most popular "dance bands" in the world and hold a second world record for playing in over 100 countries (114 to date) but until recently had never cracked the Top 40 charts. "We've made our living performing covers but we always believed we could write a hit song ourselves," says band founder and vocalist Scott Stephens, a former professional Roller Derby skater with the Los Angeles Thunderbirds before forming Liquid Blue in 1996.

Earth Passport is a song about world unity & peace and features vocals in nine languages. Having logged more flight time than almost any band in history, Liquid Blue brings a unique world perspective to their songwriting. All proceeds from Earth Passport are being donated to the "Peace Alliance," a non-profit organization. Style X will present dozens of up-and-coming brands that design and manufacture everything from women's dresses and swimwear, to eyeglasses, watches, shoes, and apparel. The new event will take place on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 at the Austin Convention Center.
