Lindsay Lohan Necklace Lifting Incident Caught On Tape
(TMZ) Lindsay Lohan was in no hurry to leave Kamofie & Company the day she allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace -- in fact, she yakked with the owner for several minutes before leaving the store.

According to sources who have reviewed the tape, Lindsay wore the necklace almost the entire time she was in the store. We're told the surveillance video clearly shows Lindsay trying on the necklace, checking herself out in the mirror, and appearing to ask her friend and the store owner for their opinion (there is no audio on the tape).

We're told Lindsay took off her own necklace to try on the store's necklace. Lindsay never took the necklace off, according to our sources, and she wore it in plain view for the next 45 minutes while she tried on several rings. According to our sources, before walking out of the store, Lindsay put her own necklace back on, but it in no way obstructed the store's necklace. more on this story

Ray Charles Live in Concert Again
(conqueroo) Concord Music Group have announced an April 5, 2011 reissue of Ray Charles Live in Concert.

Originally released as a 12-song LP on ABC-Paramount in early 1965, Live in Concert captured Ray at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in September 1964. More than four decades later, the CD reissue brings additional depth and perspective to the 1964 recording with the help of 24-bit remastering, seven previously unreleased tracks and extensive new liner notes that provide additional historical context to what is already considered a pivotal recording in Ray's overall body of work.

"There could be no more uplifting live musical experience than digging Ray Charles and his mighty orchestra in their prime," says roots music historian Bill Dahl in his new liner notes. Indeed, the 15-piece orchestra backing Ray on this date assembled just a few years earlier in 1961 boasted no less than a dozen horns, including formidable saxophonists David "Fathead" Newman, Hank Crawford, and Leroy "Hog" Cooper, all of whom had been with Ray since his days as a leader of smaller combos. "This amazing aggregation," says Dahl, "was every bit as conversant with the intricacies of modern jazz as with the gospel-blues synthesis that Brother Ray pioneered during the mid-1950s, when he began accruing serious cred as the father of what would soon become known as soul music." more on this story

Oscars Snub Corey Haim
(TMZ) Corey Feldman is upset that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences left his good pal Corey Haim off the Oscars "In Memoriam" segment -- saying the Academy does not "have a handle on who the public adores."

Feldman tells TMZ he's particularly upset since the same "public outcry" occurred after Haim was left off the SAG memorial as well.

Feldman tells us, "Corey's films have earned the industry over a half a billion dollars and his work remains an inspiration to young artists world wide ... Corey dedicated his life to the film industry. The same industry that failed to dedicate even 30 seconds to his memory." more on this story

Christian Bale Shoutout Brings Down Website
(TMZ) Christian Bale single-handedly crashed Dicky Eklund's website Sunday night during the Oscars -- after the "Fighter" star gave the famous boxing trainer a shoutout during the awards ceremony.

Dicky's daughter and publicist Carrie Eklund tells TMZ, Bale's promo during his acceptance speech for "Best Supporting Actor" drove a ridiculous amount of traffic to Dicky's website ... and the servers just couldn't handle the load.

Sources on the technical side tell us, the site experienced nearly 20 times its normal daily traffic -- jumping from around 500 hits to nearly 10,000. [Not much of a web server if that brought it down] more on this story
