American Idol's Scotty McCreery For World Series

McCreery will perform the National Anthem prior to Game One of the 2011 World Series on Fox, October 19.

"This is absolutely incredible for me," says the Idol champ. "I have had two loves in life--music and baseball. The World Series is the biggest event in baseball, so to be there and be able to sing the National Anthem is like putting my two greatest loves together."

He adds, "I am looking forward to seeing which two teams will be playing."

Bidding War For Tupac Sex Tape

Sources close to the person in possession of the tape tell us ... neither company has actually laid eyes on the footage ... but both sites are serious about acquiring the rights.

TMZ has confirmed ... one of the potential buyers is a site called YouPorn -- and YouPorn honcho Corey Price tells us the site has made an official offer to pay $150k for the tape.

According to sources, the person in possession of the tape believes the offer is "way too low" -- and is willing to hold out for more money.

We're told the seller has been in contact with a second, unidentified porn site, which has vowed to to beat the current offer -- but only if it can screen the footage first.

As TMZ first reported, the footage was shot in 1991 ... and it features the late rapper receiving oral sex from a woman while rapping, drinking and smoking a blunt at a house party. more on this story

Vince Gill's Guitar Slinger Coming This Month

This album includes some of the most poignant and moving songs of his career, such as the current single, "Threaten Me With Heaven," as well as "Bread and Water" and "If I Die." Singelton, certainly has the cred to do an N.W.A. flick, with "Boyz N The Hood" under his belt. Ren says, "He knows L.A. He knows the hood and understands it. That is what the director will fully have to comprehend to do a N.W.A. film." more on this story

Brooke Mueller Vs Rehab

Brooke's beef is with the The Canyon rehab facility in Malibu -- where she secretly sought help in February 2010 -- at the peak of her domestic violence case against Charlie Sheen.

According to the lawsuit, days after she checked in, news broke that Brooke was seeking treatment for substance abuse ... and Brooke claims rehab staff members leaked the info.

TMZ broke the story after the leak ... someone was sending Brooke's patient admissions document to members of the media ... including TMZ, and the form very specifically outlined Brooke's problems. TMZ never published info from the document.

Brooke claims it was all a crass money grab from staffers at The Canyon -- and now, she's suing for undisclosed damages, claiming her right to privacy has been violated.

A rep for The Canyon had no comment, although as we first reported, after the leak The Canyon officials said they would conduct their own internal investigation. more on this story
