There were even claims the singer was drunk - claims she denied, posting this message on Twitter Thursday, "In my 18 years of performing, I have never been anything but professional onstage. It is a shame that gossip and lies are overshadowing the performance of Carly, a very talented young girl. And while I have not given any media outlet a quote, if you want one, here it is "It was an amazing opportunity to share this experience with Carly and I know I'll be watching for her to win tonight." "Extra's" Terri Seymour caught up LeAnn backstage after the show Wednesday night and she seemed fine to us, talking very candidly about her stint in rehab and her marriage to Eddie Cibrian. LeAnn told Terri that one of the hardest parts about being in rehab was being alone for 30 days. "It really was the first time for 30 days I was in one place which was actually the hardest part of the whole thing. To be that long in one place without anyone around, it was part of what I was working through because I have always had people around mewhich was half of what I was working through, what do I do with myself when I'm off the road. I did 500 shows in three years, when I stopped I would get super anxious." She went on to say that 30 days in therapy made her enjoy her time off and she is looking forward to spending time with her husband and stepsons. She said "I feel amazing, happier than I felt in god knows how long." LeAnn tackles the issues in her life in her new single, "Borrowed" saying, "I carried that song and that title around with me for about eight months, I was afraid to write it because I knew I had to be incredibly personalwhen I did , it was through a lot of tears. I called? myself pathetic in the song, that's exactly how I felt about myself." LeAnn said that if she hadn't tackled the subject he thought that people would say, "Why didn't you talk about the elephant in the room? " Terri asked LeAnn about Eddie's reaction to the song. LeAnn said, "He is always so supportive, I actually was scared to put him in the song because it does talk about how we both hurt each other. There was a moment where we did have some hurt between the two of us that we had to accept and get over and move forward and that's made for an amazing relationship." The release of her album, "Spitfire," which LeAnn claims is the most honest songwriting of her career , is expected to be released in early 2013. more on this story
