Fans Shave Heads Over Justin Bieber Cancer Hoax
(CBS Local) Justin Bieber has found himself in the middle of a cruel hoax. On Thursday, someone posted a Tweet from the official Entertainment Tonight Twitter account that the pop star had been diagnosed with cancer. The tweet has since been removed.

Then, someone posing as the Biebs tweeted "Some of my AWESOME supporters are shaving their heads to help get me through this. I love my fans. #BaldForBieber."

Then fans began Tweeting pictures of themselves after shaving their heads holding up signs saying #BaldForBeiber, which is a lovely gesture, but unfortunately appears to be a hoax. more on this story

Child Services Responds to Anonymous Call to Kardashian Home
(TMZ) An anonymous person called the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services to report possible abuse against Kendall and Kylie Jenner -- but sources tell us authorities don't believe anything bad happened ... and the Kardashian clan thinks the culprit may be a tabloid reporter.

The anonymous call came in Friday, claiming the two girls were in danger. Sources connected with the Kardashians tell us ... the complaint was "ridiculous because Kylie wasn't even in the country the day the caller claimed she was in danger. She was in the Philippines."

Social workers and cops came to the house ... and our sources say they quickly discounted the anonymous call.

We're told Kris Jenner has now hired a P.I. to try and track down the "prank caller," because she believes it's someone from a tabloid. more on this story

Lil Wayne Won't Appear In Court Because of Seizures
(TMZ) Lil Wayne will not appear at his trial after suffering several seizure-like episodes, and the only Wayne the jury will see is his video deposition -- a depo which the judge said shows he acted like an irresponsible little child.

As we told you ... Wayne is suing Quincy Jones III over a documentary about the rapper that he calls a "scandalous portrayal."

Wayne was not in court today because of his medical emergency on Thursday on board a private jet. The pilot radioed Wayne had seizures and he was subsequently hospitalized.

Wayne's lawyer told the judge he will play Wayne's deposition tapes for the jury, but there will be NO Wayne in person. But that's a huge problem because the tapes -- which TMZ posted last month -- show Wayne acting like a child, giving glib one liners and refusing to answer questions.

The tapes are hilarious -- but the judge wasn't laughing today, chastising Wayne for displaying "unreasonable conduct in the deposition" and "irresponsible behavior." more on this story

Toni Braxton Accused of Fraudulently Transferring Money
(TMZ) Toni Braxton fraudulently transferred $53,490 to her estranged husband in order to avoid paying back creditors in her bankruptcy case -- so says the trustee of Toni's bankruptcy estate.

According to new docs filed in Toni's ongoing bankruptcy case, Toni's estranged husband Keri Lewis received the 5-figure sum after Toni's money was already earmarked to repay creditors.

Now, the bankruptcy trustee is suing Lewis to get the money back -- much like John Mayer was sued for $465,000 following a giant Ponzi scheme collapse in Seattle.

TMZ broke the story ... Toni filed for bankruptcy in 2010, claiming she owed between $10 million and $50 million in debts.

A rep for Braxton tells TMZ, "All of the payments made to Lewis prior to Toni's bankruptcy filing were appropriate transfers for reasonable and necessary personal and business expenses in the ordinary course of her business."

The rep adds Toni will continue to provide the trustee whatever info is needed to address the allegation. more on this story

Kardashians Vs Makeup Company
(TMZ) The Kardashian sisters aren't backing down in their war with a high-end makeup company -- sources close to the K-Krew tell TMZ, they've got a secret weapon to guarantee they'll prevail in court ... trademarks.

The Kardashian girls filed requests to trademark the phrases "Kardashian Khroma" and "Khroma Beauty by Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe" earlier this summer.

The requests are still pending -- but sources connected with the family tell us, they're confident they'll be approved ... because the man behind the competing makeup line (named Chroma) hasn't filed for ANY trademarks.

As we reported, the co-owner of Chroma Makeup in Beverly Hills -- a guy named Michael Rey -- is threatening to sue the Kardashians over the Khroma make-up line, claiming the Kardashian line will cheapen the high-end company he's built over the last 12 years.

It's worth noting ... you don't NEED to register a trademark to pursue trademark litigation -- so Rey may NOT be up the creek without a paddle.

And there's this -- while we were looking up the Kardashian trademarks, we came across another makeup company named "Kroma."

"Kroma" filed for its trademark in 2010 ... so that could be another obstacle for the Kardashians. more on this story

Tom Cruise Not Pressing Charges Against Intruder
(TMZ) Tom Cruise will not press charges against the drunk man who trespassed on his property Sunday night ... TMZ has learned.

As we reported ... Jason Sullivan -- an Australian model/interior designer/reality star -- has been living next door to Tom at the home of Kevin Huvane, Tom's agent.

We're told Jason came home drunk Sunday night, mistook Tom's property for Kevin's and began to enter the grounds. Tom's security told Jason to leave, but instead he tried scaling the privacy wall to get further into Tom's property. Jason began walking toward Tom's house and was warned he would be tased if he continued. When Jason kept walking, he was tased twice.

Jason was arrested, cited for misdemeanor trespassing and released.

Tom's lawyer, Bert Fields, tells TMZ, "Tom's not a vindictive guy," adding, "The guy was drunk. He didn't have a malicious intent."

Beverly Hills cops will likely refer the case to the L.A. County D.A., but given that it's a pretty ordinary misdemeanor, it's likely Jason will skate. more on this story

Russell Brand Accused of Hitting Pedestrian While Driving
(TMZ) Russell Brand just got sued by a pedestrian who claims the actor drove into him earlier this year in Los Angeles ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained a copy of the lawsuit filed Monday in LA County Superior Court -- and according to the documents ... Brand was driving "negligently" when he collided with the plaintiff, Victor Sneed, back in January.

In the docs, Sneed claims he was a pedestrian, and suffered personal injury, property damage ... and incurred hospital bills as a result of the accident.

The suit does not detail Sneed's alleged injuries, but he does claim he lost wages after the accident.

Sneed is suing for more than 25k. more on this story

American Express Wins Case Against Hip-hop Producer Sean Garrett
(TMZ) Hip-hop mega-producer Sean Garrett has been ordered to pay $108,084 to American Express.

TMZ broke the story ... Amex sued Garrett -- who's had out hits with Beyonce, Usher, and Nicki Minaj -- claiming he never paid off the hefty tab on his card.

Amex filed a motion for default judgment last month -- because Garrett didn't respond to the lawsuit -- and the judge ruled in Amex's favor.

Unfortunately for Amex, Garrett has a ton of other financial woes -- the State of Georgia filed a tax lien against him earlier this year, claiming he owes over $1 MILLION in back taxes for the years 2006, 2007, and 2010.

Garrett previously claimed the AMEX bill was the result of identity theft. He has not responded to our calls for comment. more on this story

Basketball Wives Star Slims Down With Six Figure Payoff
(TMZ) A diet company offered "Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman a Six Figure endorsement deal after she shed 25 pounds using their product.

Sources close to Tami tell TMZ she got all the way up to 185 lbs recently and was determined to lose the weight. She started exercising, ate healthy food ... and began using a product called NV Sprinkles -- where you sprinkle powder on your food to make you eat less.

We're told Tami dropped the weight in about two months and was so vocal in the press about the NV's help in her speedy weight loss, the company actually approached her to be the face of the product.

Our sources say Tami signed on for a mid-six-figure endorsement deal and all she has to do is keep the weight off. more on this story

Lance Armstrong Spotted Back On A Bicycle
(TMZ) For the first time since he was banned from pro cycling for LIFE, a sponsorless, titleless, cancerless Lance Armstrong was seen on his bike this week ... training.

MZ has obtained photographs of Armstrong in Waikoloa Village, HI on Monday -- riding his bicycle on a local highway with another rider.

Sources tell TMZ, Armstrong has been hanging around the Hawaiian town for the last week -- riding his bicycle, swimming at the local public pool, and visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

In the photos, Armstrong is wearing a Livestrong jersey, despite stepping down as chairman from the foundation earlier this month in the wake of his doping scandal.

He's also wearing a helmet made by Giro -- one of the sponsors that kicked Lance to the curb this month.

As for the bike, Lance's rep tells us Armstrong has traded out his iconic Trek for a Crumpton -- "a local bike maker from Austin, TX."

Lance's rep also says, "[Armstrong] will continue to stay active and try to be the fittest 40 year old out there (he's now 41)." more on this story

Judge Lifts Scott Storch Arrest Order
(TMZ) Producer Scott Storch can walk the streets in Florida without fear of being picked up by the police -- because a judge lifted the arrest order against him after he paid off a huge chunk of his child support debt.

As TMZ first reported, Storch was behind on payments to the tune of $28,300 and when he failed to show up for a court date on the matter, a judge ordered the music producer to be arrested.

But Storch's lawyer tells TMZ Storch cut Vanessa Bellido a check for $20,000 and the judge lifted the order.

Storch has six months to pay off the remaining $8,300. more on this story

Singled Out: Voli's All The Same
Today Voli tells us about his new single and music video track "All The Same". Here is the story:

"All The Same" was made mostly without anyone around. It started out as a template with the main rhythmic drums you hear throughout and the synth lines prominent in the hook. Definitely had a reflective vibe to it going in. My guitarist, Gavidia, is a genius. We weren't physically in the studio together for this one. I sent him what I had over the World Wide Web, explaining I needed something that would people in a trance, but then explode when the chorus came in. I have a tendency to want people to feel like they're on a roller coaster while listening to music. So, hopefully you guys throw your hands up, screaming, rather than throwing up all over the poor a**holes behind you. Anyway, an hour later, Gavidia sent back some pretty wild material. My typical process is to have the music 90% done before I start recording, so I gave it a decent sequence, threw it in Pro Tools and got to work.

For those familiar with my stuff and those just being introduced, my music is like an ugly mutt with no clear lines as to the genre I am as an artist. I sing and rap, with tinges of alternative, reggae, neo soul, rock, andIcouldkeepgoingonnnnnn. It's great but sometimes I don't know what the hell to do on a track. I started out trying to rap, but stopped being stubborn and threw on what I felt was unexpected. I wanted to talk about the struggles of not only being an artist. but of anyone who maintains an obsessive attitude towards a passion, when most of the people around you don't get why you're even doing it.

Right before the hook, I solo'd the strummed chords and made the hook massive (that moment before the roller coaster takes that first dive.) "Do you love me?" really pertained to the notion that we all lose a bit of ourselves tying to please others on our route to success. We want family/friend/stranger approval because we not only want acceptance; we want genuine love. The post is a moment of schizophrenia where I put the middle finger up to the ones who don't approve now, but will once Voli becomes a success story. None will get it, until all get it...right?

2nd verse is a real stream of consciousness and I threw in some light reggae, rap, then some heavy reggae to throw the audience for a loop. The content really expands the idea that we're all going through the idea we need to be socially accepted: The need to make money with an acceptable job, marrying the right girl, the girl picked on in school for being intelligent, the homosexual kid bullied for not being "normal", etc. So ultimately, we're ALL the same through the struggles of wanting to be the same. How bout we celebrate our differences...

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and check out the video right here!
